Where the times come from

Official guidance, never a guess.

QRemo only suggests an after-opening time it can point to. When sources differ, it uses the shortest one.

Medicines and infant formula are tracked only by their printed expiry date while sealed. Once opened, QRemo never suggests a time: you set your own reminder, from the label or your pharmacist.

Questions

Is QRemo safety advice?

No. QRemo's dates are reminders, not food-safety or medical advice. Always follow the label, the storage conditions on the product and your pharmacist. When in doubt, throw it out.

Does QRemo use AI to guess how long things last?

No. AI reads your photo, barcode or receipt to name the product. The time after opening comes only from official sources or the maker's own instruction, and every item shows which one.

What about medicines?

QRemo tracks them by their printed expiry date while sealed, and never suggests a time once opened. It asks for your consent before storing any medicine information, and never shares it.
